Man crashes expensive Ferrari one hour after he bought it

The car was not so lucky.
South Yorkshire Police posted Twitter photos of the smoking, wrecked car, saying it “went airborne (and) burst into flames” beside a highway in northern England.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia, worth about $260,000 new, ended up a burning heap in a field.
The police said in a Facebook statement that the driver “only had minor cuts and bruises” after Thursday’s smash, but they also detected “a sense of damaged pride.”
The force said the driver, not identified, told officers: “I’ve only just got it, picked it up an hour ago.”
Police urged local drivers to take care on the roads.

Girls run mad or become sick after being used for yahoo plus

“After spending lavishly, we sometimes go bankrupt. So, we have no choice than to use metaphysical powers to hypnotise our victims online. The act of using voodoo is what people nicknamed ‘Yahoo Plus.’
“I use it so that the victim, otherwise known as a ‘client’ will fall deeply in love with me and obey my every command. At least, I have been into dating scam for a while now and I can boast of two cars and a house.”
The above is the confession of 26-year-old Hakeem aka H Funds. He dropped out of university when he was in 100 Level. After dropping out of school, he embraced cyber fraud. Interestingly, he has been able to buy cars and build house through the scam.
Hakeem is toeing the path of many Nigerian young men and women who are embracing cybercrime. Many of them have left the traditional method of attempting to sweet talk victims into parting with money. Today, they now use voodoo, otherwise known as ‘Yahoo Plus or Science’ to collect money from unsuspecting victims.
Many of the young men, who spoke with our correspondent spoke, said the cost of a particular voodoo, depended on how challenging a certain internet fraud might prove to be. They also confessed that aside from the fact that Yahoo Plus makes them richer, it also is a stress-free way of making money. They revealed that native doctors, Islamic and Christian clerics usually prepare the charms for them.
Hakeem insisted that Yahoo Plus was the best gimmick to apply in online dating scam.
He added: “I use voodoo for dating scam. I use it to spellbind my online victim and make him or her easier to control. There are different kinds of voodoos; one is to use the image of the white client, another one is to make incisions on our hands, place our legs on a tortoise or take the client’s name to a cleric or native doctor.
Sometimes, we take our phones and computer to the shrine. The type of Yahoo Plus I do is to take client’s name to the shrine.”
Another operator, Lanre, 25, said that he and his younger brother wouldn’t have succeeded in internet fraud, if not for the help of his mother. He disclosed that it was their mother who introduced them to the new level of cyber fraud.
Lanre said his mother didn’t believe in them at first until he carried out a scam and bought a car from the proceeds. The car got his mother so tickled that she decided to take them to a herbalist for charms.
He said: “Although my father is late, we have been successful in this cyber fraud business because my mother supports my brother and I. My mother took my younger brother and I to a woman’s place. The woman took us to a river and bathed us. Asides that, I do other sorts of rituals like ‘Oshole.’ Once you have done Oshole, you will succeed in every kind of internet scams.
I must confess that I have achieved a lot by God’s grace. I haven’t seen any repercussion because I do go back to the herbalist’s place to renew my voodoo.”
Another internet fraudster, who gave his name simply as T Money, said that he had been using black magic for his cybercrime for long.
T Money, a 200 Level dropout, disclosed that after he abandoned his university programme, he had tried his hands on several menial jobs, but failed to succeed in any. He finally went into cyber fraud.
The 27-year-old T Money explained why he abandoned the traditional Yahoo Yahoo to delve into the occult world of Yahoo Plus.
He said: “When I started the internet fraud, I couldn’t earn much. I only earned enough to buy clothes, some pair of shoes and an IPhone.”
According to him, while his friends were hitting big money and living lavish lifestyles, he was counting pennies.
He said: “I became intrigued on how my friends were making good money. I asked questions and got answers. It was the answers that led me into Yahoo Plus. It is what most of my friends do. I went to meet an Islamic cleric.
“I was into dating scam when I first started. The dating scam was not really fetching huge amount of money. I began using Yahoo Plus because my friends were making it big and buying cars. Once they make big money, they will go and lodge in hotels. I desperately wanted to belong. I wanted to know what it feels like to be rich. I had no choice than to meet the cleric whom I paid money for the ritual. Look at me today, I’m doing fine.”
A cyber fraudster, who introduced himself as Sir Cash, 28, said there were different categories of Yahoo Plus – ‘Oshole’ and ‘Irapada.’ According to him, the two are used to enhance internet scam operations.
He added: “There is another Yahoo Plus. It is very bad and dangerous. It entails using the ‘glory’ of innocent girls. You rub something like oil into the private part of a girl before having sexual intercourse with her. She either becomes sick or will never amount to much in life. We also use prostitutes. Most of these rituals have repercussions. One must be very careful.
“Most of us do a voodoo called ‘Oshole.’ Oshole has little or no repercussion and most of us use it. The way Oshole works is that it compels the victim to pay money.”
According to Sir Cash, there are various repercussions to the use of voodoos on girls. One of the repercussions is insanity.
He said: “There are some of our guys, who after using the voodoo get richer, but also forget to return to the shrines or clerics to renew their voodoo. That’s when problems start.”

Man pretends to be God's angel rapes 20 year old girl

31-year-old commercial bus driver and Muslim faithful identified as Alaba Shodamola, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly raping a 20- year-old girl under the pretence of being her God-sent Angel.
The suspect convinced his victim that he was an angel sent by God to save her from being killed in the night by enemies.
Shodamola lives at 24, Mosan Road, Ipaja, Lagos, and was arrested after an illicit sexual affair with the unsuspecting girl.
According to Vanguard, the victim was later arrested by the police that night on her way home after the incident and upon interrogation, she alleged that she had been raped by the suspect following which the operatives moved swiftly, arrested the suspect and took him to Ipaja Police Station.
The suspected rapist was later handed over to the Family Support Unit (FSU), of the Isokoko Police Division, Agege, Lagos State.
However, the Ogun State-born rape suspect told Vanguard how he was able to convince his victim: “I’m a commercial bus driver and a Muslim. I’m fasting but the truth is that, nobody is above mistake.
“I know I’m a sinner apart from inheriting sins from my forefathers.
“I’m fasting but had to get myself involved in this sin. God knows anything that will happen to a man before it happens.
“I talked to God and pleaded for mercy; let Him have mercy on me. I believe in the Bible and the Koran.
“I got it wrong when I made a covenant with God that if he blessed me, I would serve him but immediately God blessed me, I reneged on that promise.
“I made money and spent it anyhow without going back to God. I believe that’s why he is punishing me.
“Before this happened about a month ago, I had a dream where I saw somebody arresting me but I did not understand it until this thing now happened.
“I have been seeing this girl on the street and I love her. I have been looking for ways to talk to her. So, that day around 9.00 pm when I saw her, I said to myself, I will sleep with this girl today.
“Then, I started thinking about how to convince her. I then walked to her. By that time, I had already closed from work.
“I asked her where she was going and she said her father sent her on an errand. I asked about her mother and she told me that her mother has died.
I’m not an angel; I just used that trick to lure her to bed.
“From there, I started my brain-game on her. I told her not to sleep in her father’s house that night, that I’m the angel God sent to save her life from death. I asked her to buy three sachets of salt and give to beggars.
“But she would have to come to my house for me to do the work that remains. I told her to follow me to my house which she did.
“She did not shout. I’m not married and I’m the only person living in my room. I’m not an angel; I just used that trick to lure her to my bed because I did not know what else to convince her with. I told her not to buy the salt again after having sex with her.
Domestic violence.
“When we got inside the house, I told her that we have to sleep together which she obliged and opened it herself. We did not force ourselves and I did not stay up to one hour. I did it once using condom, I did not even enjoy it.
“After that, she asked me to give her transport that she wanted to go home. It was around 1.00am in the night. She was on her way home when the police arrested her. She reported to them that I had raped her and led them to arrest me. Already, her father had reported to the station that her daughter was missing.”
Confirming the the arrest and detention of Shodamola, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Olarinde Famous-Cole said “we’re still investigating the matter,” adding that “the suspect will be charged to court in due time.”
He also warned young women to be careful with the way they relate with people they do not know

Amazon stock opened up 1.6% on Thursday, adding $1.4 billion to Bezos’ net worth. That was enough to put him ahead of Gates, who was last surpassed on Forbes’ real-time rankings for just two days nearly a year ago by Spanish retail giant Amancio Ortega.
Forbes started tracking billionaires around the globe in 1987. Bezos is now the seventh person to hold the title of the world’s richest person and the third American to top the global ranks besides Gates and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett.
While Gates and Buffett both appeared on Forbes’ first ranking of America’s 400 Richest people in 1982, Bezos is a newer addition to Forbes’ wealth rankings. Wine, beer and liquor can all help you fall asleep faster (or “shorten your sleep latency,” to use a more technical term), but experts agree that if you drink before bed, you’re more likely to wake up throughout the night and get less deep sleep. The truth about your bed wine If you imbibe too much close to bedtime, both the quality and quantity of your sleep ― and your brainpower the next day ― will suffer. “Alcohol messes with your sleep cycles, resulting in more arousals, and causing you to spend less time in the important deep sleep stages,” says Dr. Rajkumar Dasgupta, an assistant professor at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine and a spokesperson for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. This means that even if you conk out quickly, you’ll pay for it later in the night (not to mention the next morning). You cycle through your various sleep stages every 90 minutes or so, and you tend to get more deep sleep in the second half of the night, which is when the effects of alcohol really come into play, Dasgupta says. You need to spend time in these later stages in order for sleep to feel restorative. What’s more, deep sleep is crucial for cognition and memory. This is your sleep on booze Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant, according to Dr. Patricia Carter, associate professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Nursing and a Sleep Research Society committee member. “When someone drinks alcohol, it results in them feeling ‘calmer’ and more relaxed because it directly impacts the system that is causing anxiety or ‘stress’ feelings,” Carter says. In other words, alcohol makes it easier to fall asleep ― but it doesn’t guarantee a restful night. After a short time ― about two hours, depending on your metabolism ― your body will start trying to wash out the alcohol, which it views as a toxin, Carter says. This process is accomplished by pulling water from cells and flushing out the toxin through the kidneys and bladder (which is why you have to get up and pee so often). On top of this, alcohol suppresses the anti-diuretic hormone in your body, which can contribute to even more bathroom trips, according to Dasgupta. And when you’re going to the bathroom regularly, you’re losing essential electrolytes. All of these factors can add up to a terrible night of light, frequently interrupted sleep and an exhausted, dehydrated you in the morning. But it doesn’t have to be this way! Five expert-backed tips for having your drink and sleeping later too:

1. Allow three to four hours between drinking and hitting the sheets. If you plan to crawl into bed at 10 p.m., be sure to finish that glass of wine by 7. (It takes your body about three hours to metabolize 8 ounces of wine, Dasgupta says.) Of course, the exact time may vary depending on your size, your gender and your alcohol intake. Alcohol tends to affect women more acutely, according to Carter, who suggests a four-hour window for women and men alike.

2. Use the “two for one” rule. Guzzle two glasses of water for every alcoholic drink. This will help your system flush out the alcohol, Carter says. (Drink even more water if you’re having wine or a sugary drink, since your body will need to flush out the alcohol and the sugar.)

3. Cut the cava. Bubbles can cause bloating and gas, which distend your stomach, providing more surface area for alcohol to be absorbed (and mess with your sleep), according to Dasgupta. Similarly, think twice about drinks with fizzy, carbonated mixers.

4. Drink with food ― and pay attention to your alcohol intake. Doing your drinking and your eating at the same time is a good idea because you’re typically munching on meals a few hours before bed, which allows more time for your body to metabolize and more time for you to squeeze in those crucial glasses of water. But there’s a catch: Eating will slow the “hit” of the alcohol, Carter says, so you might actually end up drinking more to feel the buzz.

5. Always abstain if you’re taking sleeping pills. Medications like Ambien and over-the-counter drugs like Benadryl don’t mix with alcohol, says Dasgupta. Alcohol is a respiratory depressant (that is, it makes breathing hard), and a majority of sleeping aids work on the same receptors in the body that alcohol does, which means you’re suppressing your ability to breathe even more. Hence, alcohol amplifies the effects of the sleeping pills, which can be quite dangerous. It’s important to note that alcohol worsens sleep disorders. More than 18 million adults have sleep apnea, a condition in which breathing is interrupted during sleep, according to the National Sleep Foundation. Since alcohol results in extra breathing difficulties, it’s a double whammy for the health of anyone with the disorder, according to Dasgupta. Booze can also increase the symptoms or effects of parasomnia (sleepwalking) and restless legs syndrome. So if you have any of these conditions, you’ll want to be extra careful with your consumption.

Media personality, Toke Makinwa has ended her book tour yesterday at her alma mater, UNILAG.

“I haven’t always made the right choices but I am thankful for grace. I’m no where near perfect, I struggle sometimes but I’m learning to lean on the grace of God to catch me when I fall. Its quite emotional for me to end my book tour at the University of Lagos cos I remember my time there, I wasn’t the brightest student, I had potential but I was a troubled young girl, I didn’t care much for my books till one day I was advised to withdraw, and I hit rock bottom. I had no where else to go, my grades were bad, so bad the school asked me to leave. Something happened (grace), there was a meeting with all department heads I was granted mercy on humanitarian grounds. My lecturers knew I had it in me but I couldn’t see what they saw, they decided to give me an extra year to turn it around. It was humiliating, I started not quite at the bottom but it was a struggle. My mates had graduated and I was in a new class and boy it was hard but I did it. I don’t know how but I made a 2:2. Instead of 4 years I spent 5/6 but I made it out. It is important for me to go back and meet with the students in Unilag, the ones doing great and the students that are struggling too. Before i begin, i'ld like to let you all know i was once a victim of a very bad addiction, precisely masturbation. I became steady in my prayer, church and spiritual life, always making positive confessions about myself everyday. I wake up and say to myself; Sin has no power over me i'm the righteousness of Christ Jesus and frankly speaking, i've taken God seriously and i discovered i've totally forgotten i was a chronic masturbator not to talk of how to masturbate only because i put all focus on God, the one who gives us rest. Those who indulge in such habit not just masturbation but many others like smoking, drug addiction, promiscuity and many more i'll urge you to make God your focus and the HolySpirit your best companion and if you do this with all sincerity, i can vow that you won't know when that bad habit will drop off. You must not go for any laying of hands to be made free. Why die when you can live? May the good Lord strengthen you all, Amen.

This is the story of dozens of women in Indian who are desperately looking for a child as they allow ‘God-men’ to trample over them. Tribal women in Andhra Pradesh, southern India, have performed this ritual for generations during the annual festival of Ekadashi, during the month of July.

Jay-z extends record for the number one albums

mogul Jay-Z on Sunday extended his record as the solo artist with the most number-one US albums, after a one-week delay when his Tidal streaming service declined to release data. “4:44” debuted at the top of the Billboard album sales chart for the week through Thursday, replacing rapper DJ Khaled’s “Grateful” and marking Jay-Z’s 14th number one, tracking service Nielsen Music said. Jay-Z expanded his lead as the solo artist with the most number-one albums since the chart’s creation in its current form in 1956. Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand are tied in second place at 11. Among all artists, Jay-Z trails only The Beatles who have 19 number-one albums in the United States. Unusually for such a high-profile release, “4:44” entered the chart only on its second week after Jay-Z released it on CD, Apple’s iTunes and rival streaming services — with the exception of Spotify. It sold 262,000 units. Jay-Z released the album on June 30 as an exclusive on his Tidal streaming service, which is partly owned by telecom operator Sprint. Tidal, which has been trying to close Spotify’s sizable lead as the biggest streaming service, did not release data for its first week. Tidal, which is privately held by entrepreneurs led by Jay-Z, has been guarded about releasing its streaming figures publicly. But there are some specific things that might make her more likely to go home with that other guy instead of sticking with you. That’s what a survey from online pharmacy Superdrug Online Doctor in the U.K. found, after they asked 2,000 Americans and Europeans to spill what’s most likely to make them stray. So what’s going on? If her ego suffers as a result of these behaviors, she might be tempted to look elsewhere to build herself back up—before she even considers the consequences of what she’s doing, says relationship therapist Paul Hokemeyer, Ph.D. The good news is, many of the triggers are well within your control. The bad news is, you might already be doing them. So while there isn’t really any way to predict for sure if she’ll be faithful, there are some clearcut signs that she’s not happy in the relationship, the survey found. Here are the top five reasons women cheated or were tempted to cheat—and exactly what you should do about it. not paying attention to her Why it’s a problem: Not getting enough attention from their partner was the top reason women reported cheating or being tempted to cheat. That’s because relationships are all about companionship, says licensed marriage therapist Moushumi Ghose, author of Classic Positions Reinvented. When you stop paying attention to her, she might start to wonder what she’s getting out of staying committed to you. “If your partner is not paying attention to you, you are not building a connection, not staying connected, and then the purpose of the relationship is diminished greatly,” she explains. Your move: Tell her three positive things about her every single day, suggests Ghose. “Letting her know you see her can make a huge difference in how she feels not just about you, but about herself and the relationship,” she adds. And no, you don’t have to rattle them off all at once. In fact, you shouldn’t. Instead, spread them out throughout the day, and let them flow naturally. Plus, it’s the little things that mean the most, says Hokemeyer. “Leave a note under her pillow. Acknowledge one piece of her wardrobe—her shoes, her earrings, the color of her lipstick. Bring her a cup of coffee in the morning. Send her a text during the day that says you’re thinking of her,” he says. not there for her Why it’s a problem: To understand why it’s an issue, you first need to understand what “being there for her” means in the first place. Basically, you need to have her back, especially when things get rocky, explains Hokemeyer. “Being there for her is important because it shows her you’re safe and supportive when her world gets chaotic, stressful, and overwhelming,” he adds. Unfortunately, sometimes words are worthless. She needs to feel that you’re there for her through your actions, he says. If she doesn’t, she might turn to another guy for that comfort instead. Your move: “The easiest way to let your partner know she is supported is to be present,” says Ghose. “Make eye and body contact when she speaks and ask questions that suggest you are genuinely interested in what she has to say.” It also means you might have to do things you don’t always want to do. “Do the very thing she wants that make your toes curl in your shoes. Push through your resistance to say, ‘hell no!’ and do it,” says Hokemeyer. It’s as simple as cleaning up the kitchen (even though you hate doing the dishes) before she gets home from a late night at work, or visiting her parents with her when you rather be anywhere else for your vacation. she has doubts about the relationship Why it’s a problem: Feeling doubt about your relationship comes down to whether or not she still trusts you, explains Hokemeyer. If she doesn’t trust you, she might start to feel vulnerable. Most doubts are filled with insecurities, anger, and resentment. She might turn to another guy to escape these feelings. This loss of trust can happen for lots of reasons, adds Ghose. Maybe you’ve been arguing more than usual and you said something that really rubbed her the wrong way, she saw you looking at another woman, or she caught you in a few white lies. As a result, she might start to check out emotionally—say, by not engaging in arguments or discussions or by spending less time at home. These relationships doubts can manifest themselves in withdrawal, where she’s stepping away from your relationship to make herself feel more in control, rather than breaking the entire thing off, says Ghose. Your move: “The best way to find out if she has doubts is to start focusing your attention on her reactions to you. How does she respond to your touch? Does she roll her eyes when you tell her you love her or find her attractive? Is she questioning your actions, diligently following your whereabouts and demanding accountability?” explains Hokemeyer. If so, the best way to win her back is by earning her respect again. To do that, you need to act with respect yourself: Show up on time when you make dinner plans, follow through on your promise to mow the lawn on Sunday, be present in your relationship by asking her about her day every single day, says Hokemeyer. It also helps to acknowledge any recent mistakes you’ve made, says Ghose. This way, you’re at least showing her that you’re aware you might have wronged her in the past, and that you want to move forward in the right direction. other guy is really attractive Why it’s a problem: It’s your worst nightmare: She leaves you for a Charlie Hunnam doppelganger. It’s part of our life force that defines our very survival.” But looks may only play a small part in the equation, says Ghose. “A woman needs to feel sexy, too. If her partner does not appreciate her looks, or does not tell her she is sexy, this may send her hormones raging in another direction. This is also multiplied if her partner criticizes her, makes her feel small, or tries to demean her,” she explains. Your move: Appreciation is key here—but you have to be specific. Tell her she is sexy. Tell her how hot you really think she is. Better yet, show her just how much she turns you on. That means you have to pay close attention to what she needs in bed, so prioritizing her climax by focusing on foreplay is important, even if you tend to finish first, says Hokemeyer. Your move: Switch things up. Doing something new stimulates your central nervous system, which pumps out hormones that make you feel excited, Hokemeyer explains. So go on a hike, spend a day at the lake, go see a foreign film, or visit a part of your town that you haven’t seen before—do anything that gets both of you out of your normal routine, says Hokemeyer. You can also try being direct: “If she says she is bored, ask her what would make her life more exciting,” says Ghose. A word of caution: Her boredom can often be out of your control, and can fall directly on her not being satisfied with her own life.
